I lost my original I-485 receipt in mail; I have photocopy of my attorney's copy of I-485 receipt. Is that okay if I don't have original I-485 receipt for fingerprints?
As far as I remember you should bring original fingerprinting notice and valid ID to your fingerprinting appointment. No other forms or receipts were necessary.
I used my copy when I went for the fingerprint. If they insist, you can try to explain to them.
