Hello all, I really need help from you.
I have confirmed that a NOS was sent to DOS on 12/02/2010, but have not seen any updates from the J visa inquiry portal. All other NOS that were sent together in the same package have been updated and some even got favorable recommendation. I tried to ask the Chinese embassy to resend NOS but they have to get confirmation from DOS first acknowledging the missing letter. I have emailed and faxed DOS and am waiting for their response.
Has anyone inquired a representative from DOS? I called many numbers but they were only answered by the machine or directed to the machine.
My OPT expires on 02/14/2011 and my employer cannot file a H1B for me because of the J status. I really appreciate your help!!
