lost/missed finger print - Please help

2 month after filing my N400, no finger print notice received. I went down to local INS office and was told that I was sent a finger print notice 1 month after N400 was filed, but I never received it.

I was told to contact the address (vermont center) on the receipt notice to send a letter of my situation....

can anyone please share his/her experience w/ a lost/missed finger print notice ? should I just send a letter or ???

what's the best way to keep cheking if a finger print notice was sent or not ?

Go to your local FP center on open day (it is wednesday for us) with your N400 Receipt and explain them the situation. If they agree to do it, your N400 process will continue to next step.

Many thanks... I just sent a letter explaining my situation; I'll wait for 1-2 month and if I don't hear anything, I'll try to do what you did. Hopefully this will not complicate the case by me going down to the finger print center and sending a letter...

what's ID letter ?

I was also thinking about going down once a month to the local office to find out if I've been scheduled for a finger print...
