Lost job when 485 in process

I have lost my job (terminated due to some reason which I cannot get an explanation about!!)-company in fianacial trouble-not willing to accept yet-and terminating people giving some bulls**t reasons. Anyways I am actively seeking and have promising similar job offers. I am on EAD - 485(application more than 180 days old). What trouble will I be facing in my GC process? I might have a two-three week period in-between jobs where I will be unemployed. I will not be risking Unemployment Benefits though.
Please advise.

If you signed a G28 for the old employer's lawyer to handle your I-485, revoke it ASAP so you or your new lawyer will receive the RFEs. Aside from that, you should be all set since you already have offers. If USCIS sends an RFE or NOID, you just have to provide documentation for the new "same or similar" job offer, you don't actually have to be working in the job yet.

File and use EAD

Looks like you are local..(I mean from Northen VA).
As long as 6 months are over after filing 485.. you are ok.
Just need to make sure that new job is similar to the previous job (485 filed)

There are different opinions on whether to inform USCIS of using AC21 or changing the job.

Good Luck with your job search..
