Lost job + affidavit of support

I recently lost my job and fear what impact this will have on the affidavit of support. I am ignorant as to what options you have when filing this affidavit. I am filing to bring my spouse from China to the USA. I am a US citizen. I fear not having a job will cause my support affidavit to be null and void.

If I have a family member or more than one family member who is willing to offer their support am I able to list them on this petition to help it pass?

I know that you can have a co-sponsor who will have to show that they will be able to financially meet the rquirements, what you should do is call the INS and speak to one of the reps, and they will advise you better, it takes a little while to get through but it is your best bet.
