Lost I-94

Hi,

When I landed US first time, I lost my I-94 on the same day, within one hour, in the airport itself. Then I filled I-102 form and applied for my duplicate I-94. I got acknowlege letter from US Immigration that the request will be
processed within 300 days.


Now I went to SSN Office twice. But they could not accept my SSN Application form because I don't have I-94.

Can you share your inputs; Should I wait for I-94 for applying SSN.
Is there any other procedure with which I can apply for SSN No

Have you come across similar experiences?

it depends totally upon the ssn off if they will accept ur application.

they may accept the receipt for replacement I-194 but u will have to wait till u get replacement I-94.
