Lost EAD - where to apply?

Hi All,

Our EAD got approved and issued on May 12 at Newark and unfortunately on May13 evening the wallet was stolen and EAD lost. Now where to apply for the replacement EAD? Should I file with Vermont or Newark or e-file? Which is the fastest way to get the EAD again? Please let me know.

Hi Ataknev,
I'm sorry to hear that. As it is issued at Newark, so get the info pass appointment and try to meet the same officer if possible and try to explain and convince him for the duplicate/replacement EAD. I think this is the fast way to get EAD. If you apply at Vermont or do e-file it will go through the normal process and takes more time.
