lost ead and no copy, and time for renewal. what can i do?

I lost my ead and I have no copies. Is it possible for me to apply for Renewal without a copy of my previous EAD. And this was my fist EAD. Can i just send a letter along with it stating my scenario. Or should i just apply with all documents just like for my first Ead.

If you have the A# with you, you can apply for a new card and dont need to pay the fees again.
