lost a job-need advise

My 485 was filled year back ( more than 180 days) , I have been laid off .What are my option .
I know I should have same job profile , what about salary , if I was getting 90K ,whats my minimum limit for new job.
In how many month I should search new job.

Don't worry - plenty of folks in your shoes have successfully managed to get the GC. Find another job with a same/similar job description

No-one is sure about how BCIS interprets salary at the new job. The older guidelines says more than minimum wage is enough. The newer "verbal" guideline was "same as LC". But I have seen numerous recent cases being approved with salaries way less than LC. Salary is not something you can control, the salary under the "same or similar" clause can be argued either way. Generally salary alone is not the cause for denial of I-485.

It is taking around 20 months to process the I-485 so ....
