I am on H1-b and waiting for my AOS.
I have EAD and AP but never used yet.
I know if you use EAD for employment while waiting for AOS adjudication, you lose H1-b status.
How about this?
While maintaining employee position with GC sponsor with valid H1-b visa and receiving payroll, working as a contracor for a part time job using EAD, Will I still lose H1-b status?
The reason I want to maintain H1-b status is planning to get marry a girl from outside of USA.
I guess my AOS is not going to be adjudicated until next year at this time.
Any comment appreciated.
