hi guys,

do any of you have your files transferred to Los Angeles?
Please let me know your timeline and I will add it here, so that we will get to know how long LA processes the applications.

Hello Annies,
I applied towards the end of April 02, but have not heard anything from them yet. (You received your AOR during sept 02, I received mine in November-a difference of almost 2 months, even though we applied just two weeks apart).

How many points do you have ?

Hi,

Some people here have posted in the past saying that a 72 was approved. I was looking at a different discussion board and there was this person that was just one or two points less than 75, but was denied. I have, I think, 72 points. So I am a bit worried.

Do you think that they will use positive discretion in our cases and wave our applications through ?

It is not my intention to scare you, but was wondering if you knew others with 70+ that were approved lately. Knowing that will help me worry a little less !

Thanks

hi CanI

hi CanI,

i think it is a case-to-case basis... they have a standard point system but other than the score, there might be some officer's discretion added to it...

so just keep on praying that everything will be alright and at the sametime send some follow ups to it...

if you passed then be happy and if not, still be happy... migration is pure luck...

at this time, Canadian Immigration has been taking it too long... i don't know what is going on...

annies :)
