I think I made a mistake to apply through some organization, not directly. But there is also a factor of delay after the interview. I suspect there might be FBI name check pending. I already filed FIOPA request with FBI and got "no records" reply back. I also faxed FBI to find out about the status of my name check. I had a theory that young unmarried males under 35 are a subject of extra scrutiny...
At the interview I received a document with a reason for delay: ADMIN. I went to LA DO trying to find out what it was, but they had no clue. It might be some kind of internal administrative review or something like that I was told. Another month or so and I will start bugging congressman game...
