Joe, you are right. The Dual-Citizenship process for India is still not in place. I think atyehong has assumed that just because he still has his INDIAN passport, he has dual-citizenship.
ATYEHONG, you need to surrender your Indian Passport to the nearest Indian Consulate and get yourself a PIO card of a 10-year multiple entry visa for India. When the time comes, you can file for Citizenship of India.
Working in India will not jeopardize your US Citizenship, however, you still need to file US Tax Returns on your Global Income even though you may be residing overseas.
