loosing sleep,please advice

guys,mineisandearly 2002, i245case, they transferred my case to local office over 13 months now,have not received anything yet, fp gone expire in sep, it is eb3 catagory, lawer put a 1800 lison inqiry in feb got reply for that in march online message changed to we responded to your request for more information but never recived any letter, lawyer said dont worry about it, as it dose not mean anything, that is not what we are looking for, he is not advicing infopass, no writingletters, and i heard on newark thread that itis not good to call the 1800#, now i am so sowrried dontknow whatto do, how to make surethat the file isstill atthelocal office, as in the neward thread they say once youcall 1800# your file will be transffer back to vermont, got the ead renewed inmarch, please advioce if to take infopass now or wiattilloct, as couple of lawers suggest that,they might notdo interview now as they might think it iswaste of time, please advice whatto do, should i be worried about the file still being inlocal office.

Try to take an infopass appointment in Newark office and see if your file is in Newark. Checking to see if the file is in Newark wouldn't misfire and your files wouldnt be transferred to Vermont again. Tell them politely that your case is pending for the past 13 months, and I am sure you will get a better piece of mind if you know that your file is in Newark.

Have a beer and chill out buddy! Your time will come..
 
I have a friend with a pending case (245i) in NYC.

He is also waiting for over a year now.

I was thinking of the same thing, but the problem is that if i do that now,. ni will not beable to do it again in as soon as oct, when they really would be able to work on the case, and then my fp would expire, so atleast they would be able to send me 3rd fp, so in a big confusion, dontknow what to do, by the way i am having a coors light while writi9ng this message

Glad to hear that you are doing better now. Maybe wait for another couple of months and then try to find out in Newark taking an infopass.

I could clearly understand that you are having a beer as I could find out from your writing(writi9ng), which clearly means to say that the Coors light beer is working on your body. Just kidding.

My I 485 has also been transferred from TSC to VSC and is under Sec245I too.
They mentioned cause my i485 comes under the jurisdiction of VSC.
Any idea wat might be the next step.My RD of TSc was 12/12/03.
 
It is not unusual to see 245i cases being transferred to local offices, but from one Service Center to another could be to reduce work load. When they see 245i they transfer to local office for 'further verification'. May be VSC will send you a letter, soon. Did you change residence recently?

Yes when we applied under I 245 we were in Florida,since the labor took almost 3 yrs we moved to PA. So when we applied for I140 and 485 we were in Pa. After I 140 got approved on 7/20/05 we got letter that they transferred 485 to VSC.
Any advice?
