Looooong Pending I-485 approved on Sept 30,before Retrogession started

After seeing Poongunranar thread on the weekend,I thought that I should have tried going to the local USICS office too (although I did'nt had any issues like Poongunranar had on duplicate alien no.),but guess what ,today i.e Monday morning (3rd Oct), I find this email from USCIS saying that my case has been approved on Sept 30,2005.
However my wife and Son's I-485 are still pending. Looks like USCIS took mercy on my looooong awaited case and cleared it before the retrogession started. Don't know what will happen to my wife's/ Son's application...but I am sure they will come in now.

PD: March 6,2001 ;EB2
I-140 /I-1485 RD: Sept 20,2002 ;USCIS, Texas
I-140 AD : Dec 20,2002
FP: Sept 24,2004
3 EAD's , 3 AP's
Name Check cleared on July 28,2005....I guess this delayed the whole process
No RFE .
Changed Employer using AC-21/Changed Address after 180 days of I-485 filing;

Want to thank all of you who have contributed their threads and updated their information constantly to make this forum lively and realistic.
