Looks like NSC is approving Oct cases now

Pretty much most approval posters today have their ND in Oct thus indicating that NSC is clearing out OCT 2002 cases. Hopefully they will clear most of 2002 by the end of this year.

They don't have a rule to follow. Many Apr. filers are still waiting...
I guess they jumped to Oct. from Apr. just to show they started processing the filers at the end of 2002, but they left a lot of Apr. applicants. My friend just told me a few days ago that his case was still pending (Apr.) and his friends who filed in May are also pending. They did RFE and FP2 in Jan. 2004
 
Did your friends try to call the USCIS?
What is the response given to the Apr / May filers now that the processing date is May 31 2002?

They told me that problem before the last processing date was updated, then I called him to let him know that the processing date was updated and asked him to call CIS. I am not sure if he did or not.
