Looking for help: Canada Study Permit: Can I get back into CAN from US?

Hello,

If you live in Toronto and have a valid Study Permit, will you be allowed back into Canada from the US after a short visit? I was told if you have a valid Study Permit you can get back into the country without a TRV. This is even if from Russia?

Is this correct? If so, how do I get this in writing or see it posted on the CIC site?

If you want something in writing, then you will have to write to CIC, with your questions and they will reply you. This is the only way you can get something in writing from CIC.

Go to the cic web site, and check the processing manuals, and see if you find some info there. The cic web site has lot of information!!
