Hello,

I'm a reporter with ABC News, and I'm looking for families that know someone or have themselves been sent to Detention Centers in the US. We want to do a story about how families are divided when someone "disappears" in Detention Centers. We're looking to speak to parents and children in the US and abroad. We can hide your identity if you decide to speak out. We want to tell your stories, because it is important that people know what's going on with divided families.

Please reach out to me. It's confidential.

Usually illegal immigrants or criminals are held at Detention Centers, if those people want to come clean, then can start clean in their country of origin..not in a new country.

No one disappears in a detention center, you can track them on the internet. It is funny, it is okay for someone to leave everyone they known in their country, come here and start a family, but suddenly that is the "divided" family the liberals want to learn about.

I remember my last day as a Immigration Enforcement Agent, I interviewed a alien who raped his daughter weekly for a period of 10 years, I'm sure she was glad they were not together anymore as a family. That same day, I interviewed a "refugee" with a 18 page criminal record, his country refuses to issue him a travel document, so American is stuck with this human piece of trash. I processed hundrds of sexual assault on a child cases committed by undocumented and legal aliens. I also met my fair share of aliens that were married to a women back home, and one in the USA at the same time, with the idea of getting status with one, then bringing the other to the USA at a later date.

Do a story on countries that refuse to take their criminal citizens back, you really want a good story, do something on the U-visa and all the fraud commited in order to get one.

No such luck skippy, sorry about the typo's in my first reply. I should not watch TV and type on a computer at the same time.
I have spoken with writers before, they take what you say, and spin it into something that fits their predetermined point of view. No thank you, I learn my lesson.

I invite you to visit Delphi forums, they are many immigration related forums for USBP, ICE and HSI agents listed, just type "immigration" and follow the related forums. I'm sure you will get a ear full. Once again, no one disapears into a detention center. The only reason families are unable to locate their family members is that many of them lie about their truth names, try running "Jose Sanchez" in a INS database and see how many you come up with.

I remember once, getting a telephone call from some guys wife asking about him, 20 minutes later, his girlfriend calls. Both of them were unable to provide his second last date, birthdate, or alien registration number. So don't blame the INS\ICE if someone cannot be located in the system. You should ask your local ICE office for a English copy of the National Detainee Handbook before you start judging ICE. Aliens get a free phone call at the time of their arrest, and have access to telephone at the locations they are being housed at. One major problem is, many aliens have collect calls blocked, I guess that is ICE's fault too!

You should make it a point in your story, to tell American citizens that ICE is unable to keep aliens in most jails across the United States, because ICE's standards are too high for more most places to meet. That is right, most US jails are not good enough to house illegal or legal aliens.

You have a PM!

No one disappears in a detention center...

Have you ever been detained? I have and I have seen things that ex-immigration enforcers have not!

This on the other hand, I agree to!

ICE's standards!? Visit the NWDC and you'll see that ICE has no problems housing and feeding detainees with sub-standard equipment and meals! It's all a numbers game and the more detainees are quickly deported the better for their budget. ICE has no control of the detention standards as far as I know because to them, a deported detainee is worth more that one sitting in a detention cell. No offence sir but you have no right to criticize any illegal immigrants and/or detainees unless you've been one yourself!
