Hello everyone.
After a long process as you already know, I will have my visa interview the next week. I have been married with a US citizen for more than 5 years and I think I have all documents needed.
I understand that I will be given a visa valid for 6 months. However, I have just received an extension of my work contract here in the UK. It is a 10 months extension (starting in september).
What could I do?
Should I tell the officer to see if he can give me an extended visa?
What if I do not say anything at the interview and I travel to US before the visa expires and then return ASAP to the UK to finish my contract. Can I do that?.
I do not really know what do you have to do when you get into the US to obtain the permanent (10 years??) green card.
Thank you very much in advanced
