Long pending Name Checks

Guys and Gals,

Is it just me or is everyone noticing a ton of cases that were stuck in the "Name Check" process being cleared lately. I usually check postings in all 485 center forums and have seen numerous posts from each of the centers informing people of long pending "Name Checks" getting cleared over the past month.

There was some talk a few months ago about the FBI name check division implementing a new process, maybe they have started to clear up the Name Check backlog now that fewer and fewer new cases are being thrown at them due the the virtual freeze caused by the retrogression.

Any thoughts?

kind of agree with that

I kind of agree with that, even though there are still a lot waiting to be cleared.

This is a very enigmatic and mysterious process that we don't know how they are dealing with.

I see the positive side of it. Once the name is cleared, what will be the TX excuse?

have been playing ping pong with senators office and uscis and fbi
as one says its cleared then uscis said first time yes cleared so i thought will get GC as soon as numbers available just by chance called uscis again and they say... no even if we have numbers your name check still pending...so no GC will be given to u....at this point i can just not be bothered about this crap....its a no win situation ....hubby got his GC last xmas
