Long gap between H1 approval and Visa interview

Hi,

My brother has a new H1b approved in Oct' 2004 but some reasons he could not appear for visa since then.
Now he wants to appear for visa interview this january' 06. Do you guys see any problem here because there was almost more than a year gap in between.
Any body has similar experience? Any suggestions?

This is not a issue. I know people who went for stamping after 5 years after they got their H1b approval.

Please worry only when there is a sreaosn.
