Hi All,
I wish to tell you all that my GC saga spanning 3 and a half years has finally come to a successful end.
Both online and AVM status indicate that mine and my family AOS applications have been approved on 18th March.

This portal has been a great support for me during last year or so I had visited it.

I wish all of you folks speedy approvals! I wish death to the concept of RFE.

Salient milestones:
4/2000--> LC approved
12/2000--> I-140 approved
5/2001--> I-485 filed, 7/2001 ND
11/2001--> FP
5/2002--> RFE #1
9/2002-->RFE# 2

AD 3/18/2003

Keep your hopes up, all of you will be approved.

Congratulations on your approval.

One interesting thing is you did FP on 11/09/2001 and it is 15 months by 02/09/2003! I hope and think that they have some exceptions on implementing that 15 month deadline for FPs...

Pcee I think

Pcee I think they ask you to redo your fingerprinting if your case is not reviewed even once before the 15 month deadline...If they review your case and issue you an rfe before the 15 month deadline then I think they will not issue you a fingerprint redo...

Is there someone out there whose case was approved 15 months after fingerprint without an rfe...please post your details

I was surprised too

In fact yesterday morning, after reading a post by 'madman' I was actually looking down a spiral of more anticipated notices from BICS including FP, Interview to name a few. My attorney was +ve though that I would get an FP notice and had infact already faxed to BICS asking for it.

But it looks like my file is already thick enough for them.

NV, I can't tell you how happy I am to see your approval, especially that you have been waiting for so long. I've had an insinuation that you would be one of the very few next, unfortunately the very few stretched to crazy proportions as far as time goes.

Enjoy it !!! Well earned by now.

PS: I am anxiously waiting for Vipsha's wife's approval now. Hang in there, thats in the offing.

Congratulations !!!

You must be a good man ... to have your ordeal of pain come to end before all the rest of us (who are still awaiting approval) !!!

Enjoy !!!
