Hi, I have sponsored my sister from England, everything has been approved (after 12 yrs) and all the paperwork is in London (has been for a few months now). How long does it typically take to hear about your interview, and medical? Everything went very quickly this end, once the ball started rolling, and now seems to be at a standstill. We are so frustrated, some people have told us that we must wait til the priority date is reached, others have said it doesnt matter ...PLEASE GIVE US ANY INFORMATION YOU MAY HAVE

Same situation

My brother is in the same situation. We received his pack 3 and other documents last December and his case was completed by NVC in July 2004 and is now sitting at the U.S. consulate since then. Due to the recently slow movement on visa cut-off dates, his case has not yet reached his priority date. he is confused. Does anyone know whether he needs to reach the priority date before getting his interview letter? thanks

He is under F2B category. His priority date is June 1996. The current visa cut-off for his category is July, 1995.
 
evidance of support

Hi wondering if anyone can help? prob seems like silly question, but can any one tell me what is "evidance of support" Received pack 4 which asks for original copy of evidance of support, but not sure what it is!!!!! Is it a letter form your employer? thanks in advance for your help
