Local office interview help

I got interview letter from Hartford local office. Its for both(myself & wife) of us. Interview letter says kids are not allowed and we have 18mths old kid. Can I request the officer to do the interview seperately so that one of us can watch the kid in the waiting area. Help needed please.

I don't think it will be a problme as 18months old baby don't run around that much. You could tell the officers that you couldn't find anybody to babysit such a small baby. Moreover, they are concerned about kids 2-4 who run around.

Again,i don't know much.
