local office for IEAD experience

I have an RFE (52nd day today) on EAD (photos). I will be trying my luck with local office tomorrow. Please let me if you had similar experiences with NYC office or any other.

I had one with the philadelphia office. I went on the 91st day of my original application receipt date, which was about 30 days after my RFE date. I've been told that I can only get an interim EAD after 90 days of an action, and since RFE is an action, they cannot issue me one.

I got approved for my EAD about 38 days after reply. Who knows, maybe your approval is just around the corner.
