Local INS Office Appointment question

Hello Gurus need your suggestion here.

I have an appointment in Fairfax, VA office this week.
I have finished my interview in September, 2006 in Fairfax, VA but they couldn't stamp our passports since my PD is not current then. My PD is current now since Jan 2007. All kinds of checks are completed. Only approval is pending.

Question:
When we go to local office this week, are they going to stamp our passports?

Please answer my question. I appreciate it.

Why do not go to the Infopass? Is your I-485 employment or family based? Why did CIS need to interview you? Is it a marriage case?

Mine is Employment based 485. Originally filed at TSC. Since I live in VA they transferred to Fairfax, VA office for some reason. My PD is current since Jan 2007 and did not hear from them yet. So eager what making them to hold up on my case.
