Local Approval?.

Does anyone know whether local offices approve right after the inrerview on the same day. This used to be the case but with the freeze they changed it. Are they doing it after the freeze is gone?.

Yes!

I think they are approving cases from loacl offices too.
checkout rupnet.com, I saw 3-4 approvals from Dettroit, Louisville etc after the freeze lift.

Which local INS you are transferred to and when?

my recd date is aug 2001 and transferred to Kansas city,MO. during October and interview is in march 03.
