Lo.....ng Silent from NSC meaning No RFE ??

Hi,

My EB-1 EA I-140 is pending at NSC since June 21, 2006 and there was one LUD i.e. on Aug.12, 2005 (probably a mass LUD). Since then nothing has happened. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG silence meaning there won't be any RFE. Is there anybody who can highlight this aspect?

I am not sure what you mean and where you got this idea from! I hope you do NOT mean no RFE and straight denial? :confused: However, I have seen few cases in this forum where there were RFEs after 4-5 months. I think NIW cases mostly. My case is pending since June 12 and I do not anticipate anything soon anymore.... :mad:

Also, I see that you have your NIW approved. At least that is still a valid backup. I don't feel like wasting time on submitting an NIW case because I am from India and it does not help me....

Hi eb1a-query,

I am also from India and after seeing EB-2 movement I decided to file EB-1. I have seen in this forum that without having any LUDs members have got their approval without any RFE. There was a bit of long silence.

Even in my NIW case absolutely there was not even a single LUD and no RFE there was a straight approval after about 5 months. If there is a RFE within how many month one should get?

Cases can vary from center to center. I do not think we can draw a conclusion. Do the senior members in the forum have any comments on this?
