Living in Separate States after Interview

Hello,

As some of you know I recently had my interview and was approved. I currently live in Indiana, but I used to live in Virginia as a F-1 student and have some contacts there. Recently I have been given opportunity to accept a job in Virginia, however my wife is in the middle of school and unable to move with me to Virginia for the next 2 years.

Living in Indiana is not bad for me, execpt we live in Evansville, which is a very small town and does not have many job opportunites, in my field (Economics) especially without any contact here. My wife is in a completely different field (healthcare) and is unable to help me much.

If I accept the job and I move to Virginia, what complications might it have while we file U-751 in 2 years? Of course the apartment in Indiana will be maintained in both names, along with utilites etc that are already in both names to start with.

We plan on filing joint taxes as we did in 2005 and we'll try to visit as much as we can. It's difficult because VA is quite far away from Indiana. Buy staying in Indiana, i'm barely making a living doing odd jobs.

I would like to know if anyone else has been in this situation and how they solved the problem. How through are the checks when you file I-751 and what are the chances for interview or do they mostly approve the case form Service Centers?

Any help would be appreciated.
