Live Outside of US during H1B status and work for US employer

Dear All,

I am requesting advice/suggestions for my concerns below-

A.) I work for a US employer on H1B status with visa valid until 2016. My husband lives in Canada. My employer has no concerns if I work from Canada.
1. Can I live in Canada and work from there over a long period an travel to US once in 3 months?
2. Will this travel impact any concerns raised during a GreenCard Interview since my travel record will be updated on I94 every time I enter US?

B.) My husband does not want to come to US until he gets Canadian Passport and I do not want to terminate my H1 status since my green card processing has already started. Initially, we had plans of living across the border but apparently came to know that he cannot move of that province otherwise PR will be revoked affecting his eligibility for Canadian Passport!

My employer started GC processing in EB3 category and I wanted to change my employer after I get my I140 approved and do contracting moving forward.
3. Ideally, what is the right solution being in this situation?
4. Can I move to Canada and come back to US when my date is current?

5. Also, will the new rule of H4 can work and H4 spouse will get EAD when H1 has approved I140 , add up anything to handle my situation?
Keeping in mind the current situation in both the countries, please feel to suggest in any instance.

Thanks in advance and your help is sincerely appreciated.

Regards,
Shravi
