My case is transferred to San Jose office on Dec 6th 2004. At the time of applying I-485 my attorney assistant gave my relative address that too wrong door number in CA and Baltimore address for my wife and kid. During my first EAD card went to wrong address, my attorney assistant called BCIS and made them correct in the system. Also at the time of giving 2nd FP in Silver Spring they changed to present address. Few question i have:

1. Do i need to send them AR-11 for change of address? If yes, will they transfer my case to Baltimore office?
2. How much time they take to transfer the file to Baltimore office?
3. It’s been already one month, in couple of days if they are going to send me letter. Do you think i making it more delay by sending them AR-11 form?
4. Do you think i should wait for interview letter and attend in SJO? If yes, what are the questions they might ask me?

I am tense and confused. Please Gurus share thoughts

We were in same boat as you.
But the 1st thing you need to do is file for Ar-11 via registered mail and keep a copy. Another thing you must do is write a letter to the San Jose D.O. informing them of your address change.
They should send you an acknowledgement letter.
Take an Infopass appt for Baltimore D.O. and inform them.
SHow them your current address Driving record and tell them your case needs to move back to Baltmore D.O.

In our case, the officer at Houston D.O. sent the e-mails in front of us asking for the cases to be moved back.
