Can some one tell the list of documents required for P-3 for Montreal CP. I am planning to send the documents to NVC before I get them.

Go to www.immihelp.com - Consular processing - Packet 3. The form OF-169 indicates all the documents you need to gather. The worst is FP RCMP certificate. It takes 4-8 weeks to get (mine took 4 weeks). However, I heard that Montreal now accepts name based RCMP certificates as well.

P3 documents - update
I just received my P3 for Montreal on December 28th. The "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants" is a brand new form dated December 2001. The following are required:
Birth certificates
Police certificates (Canadian residents only do NOT need the fingerprint version)
Passport photocopy
Deportation records
Court and prison records
Military records
Marriage certificates
Termination of prior marriages
Processing Fee ($260/person)
I just received my P3 for Montreal on December 28th. The "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants" is a brand new form dated December 2001. The following are required:

You may delay your case by sending in your version of Packet 3.
1. NVC\'s Packet 3 will contain a bar-coded cover letter that you need to return when you send all the docs. The bar coded letter will guide your case more efficiently through St. Louis and NVC.
2. NVC will specify precisely what documents are required. A generic list may not be complete for your case.

Hi Enduring, Thanks for your information. I dint see DS 230 part I and OF 169 in your list. Also the processing fee is the new one. other certificates like birth, PCC and marriage certificates, do we need to send Originals or only copies. Can you please inform any thing new with this new procedure. What is the "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants" form number. Can you share the form with us.

Sorry, I didn\'t state that DS 230 part I and part II have to be submitted as well (although part II is not be signed yet).
It appears that originals have to be sent in of all documents, except for the Passport (only a photocopy of the biography page is required).
OF 169 is missing, as it is replaced by the new form "Instructions for Immigrant Visa Applicants" (Form CP4, dated December 2001). This form is 7 pages long. Let me see if I can get it scanned. Also, included in my packet was a statement concerning vaccinations (same as what I\'ve seen before), and a supplements for Canadian Applicants (dated 10-01).
