Ranen and Dharmesh:
Fin. Stmts can be easily taken from the company website. If the comp. is listed on a stock exchange then in that case you can order for free the previous years fin.stmts.

Fin. Stmts are required if your company is a small company with very few employees. However for Big corporations it is not required. E.G Abbott Labs, 3M, Motorola, Big Five or Four Consulting and Major Bank, Baxter All State, Coca Cola, Microsoft are examples of big corporations.

I hope that answers your questions.

Cheers,
Bapa

Thanks Bapa & Ranen !!!!!!

It seems none of you guys went to School in the US. Otherwise you would know what I20 is all about.

Dont worry. Here is the scoop. I 20 is document for getting F1 Student Visa, which the International Students Dept of a university sends the applicant who has been admitted to a University in the US. I hope that settles it.

Fin Stmts from company. Try getting hold of Fin Stmt. However Mumbai does not require it. It maybe required if your sponsoring corporation is very small and has little brand equity. However if you cant get it, then dont fret too much over it. It is genrally a good document to have inorder to prove your companies existence.

IRS 9003 is a simple form which you can get from immihelp.com. It should be filed by the prinicpal applicant and spouse of the prinicpal.

Hello,
Do we need to get the bank statement for the last one year?
Or is it enough to carry the monthily statements which we get from the bank?

SUBJECT: IRS Form 9003 No Longer Required

Neither INS nor IRS is collecting IRS Form 9003 ("Additional Questions to be Completed by All Applicants for Permanent Residence in the United States") from those applying for entry at POEs with an IV or DV. NVC and KCC do not include IRS Form 9003 in the Packet 4 mailing. Effective immediately, consular officers no longer need to collect this form from IV/DV applicants and include it in the packet for INS. Applicants should not be refused 221(g) for lack of an IRS Form 9003. FAM note 42.33, PN5.2 has been corrected to omit Form 9003 from the list of documents to be included in the IV packet.

Dear Bapa,
thanks for all the info. when you are going for something like CP if someone says form I- whatever, you tend to think better ask than be sorry..even if its I-20..anyway...I believe I saw someone' folder mentioning as one of the docs to be carried...I guess I missed the point it's the usual I-20 and is not therefore applicable to everyone...thanks anyway..

I had mentioned I-20 form under research heading ( i.e. even I was not sure ) under Jan. interview thread.

I had scraped all the forms needed from this website, and added that to the checklist.

Bapa,
Can you please confirm that the set of documents you mention also hold good for AC-I140.

Thanks fro your valuable input.
