LIN # behind the check??

Hello Gurus,
I applied from I-485 on 27th Jan 2003. The Checks I had sent were encashed on Feb first week. I have the photocopies of the check as my bank sends me that. I see a lots of numbers printed on the backside of the check. One number starts with LIN...
Is this the lin number? if so, with this number can I find the status of my case online?

Yes, that's the LIN # and you can use it to track your case.
