Hello Everyone,

I need help. I don't know how to run Greenland Summary report and I tried couple of times and I failed.

So any of you can help me for my LIN#. Which'll be great help to me because I did my FP in FEB 2002 and since then i didn't receive any kind of Notice from BCIS.

I'm really frustrated. So please help me to run this report, so i can find out whats' going on.

You mentioned you ran it a couple of times and it failed. Could you be a little more specific as to what were the problems/errors/issues you encountered. That would help to find out how to fix the problem.

I tried running your LIN# as I told you I would. My computer locks up in the middle of the process every time I do it (I suspect because of a trojan that I have on my machine). I will post the script with the instruction of how to run it when I get home later tonight.
 
instructions to execute

download the excel sheet
make sure you have enabled all the macros
make sure you have connection to the internet
goto macro's select the first one I think (not the chart one)
click on the run button and enter requested info.

Attached is the Greenland script. Save this on to your computer. Before opening this file , open excel and navigate to tools/macro/security. set the security level to medium. Now open this file, you should be prompted for which click "enable macros". Once the worksheet is open, just hit ALT+F8 which open the macro dialog. Select I485Scan and hit run. Then follow the instructions on the dialog boxes, like enter ND year and day, which would be ( 02-082) in your case. Next enter range of lin number you want to run like ( 50001-50200). Keep in mind that you can only run max of 1000 per day. PLEASE DO NOT ABUSE THE GLS. USE WITH CAUTION..ENJOY.

Hi drone,

I did as you said in the message, but one stupid question. Where i've to put range of numbers (50001-50200) because as per instruction everything went fine.

Once you put in the ND Year and day ( 02-082), the next prompt should ask for the range. I believe it is showing a message saying it will run existing numbers on the worksheet. So once you open the excel file, rename the worksheet from 02-082 to 02-082-1 and try.

Note: I have updated the attachment, so if you download the attachment now, you should be prompted for the range after you enter the ND year and day.

Hi Drone,

I really appreciate all your help. It worked and now i can see movements in my LIN number.

Sad thing is I saw few cases just approved and few got RFEs.

But this will help me alot.

I'm just curious that this report will only show 485 cases or all.

You are correct, while going throuhg all the LIN numbers, it skips cases other than 485. It records only the data for 485 cases. Once you compile your list of 485, you can run updates like once a month or once in 2 weeks to see how things are progressing.
