Likely June Interview in Mumbai

I'm starting this thread to post / exchange information for all those likely to get a June interview in Mumbai.

I talked to the mumbai consulate and they confirmed that my case had arrived and indicated a June interview.

Interview Date

I have heard that usually if the packet reaches Mumbai consulate before 10th of the Month, interview date is following month. So, how come you got date in June. It should be in May. If there are any updates on your date, please update on forum.

I'm not sure if that is entirely correct. I believe (from others' data)
that if your application reaches before the 15th - 20th of this month, your interview will be scheduled for the month after next..

There might be some exceptions to this based on individual cases.

Yep thats true. The cut-off date is the 20th of each month (of the monday if 20th is on a weekend). If they get your application before the cut off date then interview is the month after the next.

Mine was sent to them on April 10 and they said my interview will be in June.
