"Lightning fast" N400 status change?

Hi all, I had a biometrics appointment on 8/20/2013 and on 8/23/2013 the status of the application changed to "Testing and Interview Scheduling". Is this common? USCIS's description of this status seems to imply all background checks have been done - but I remember 6 years ago when I had those checks done for the green card application it took almost a year. Anyway, looks like now I'm just waiting for an interview/test appointment letter, but I'm skeptical.
 
Pretty normal. Actually though, unless your interview is actually scheduled/interview letter sent, it ain't that fast as you think! And that happens only for a handful of USCIS Field Offices.

Yeah, I guess it can be months until the actual interview. What surprised me was clearing the name check in two days!
