Dear folks,
             Hang in there. A long wait of 5 years for me is over.
Got the 485 approval yesterday for self, spouse and 2 kids and
got it stamped in passports today. Again in wait mode for plastic cards.

Details:
EB3-Prio Sep 1996, INDIA,
VSC
485 ND Sep 2, 1999
FP Aug 2000
No RFE, Approved on Feb 3,2001 received on Feb 8 and stamped on Feb 9.

Congratulations ! What is the approval date according to AVM ? I am asking this because, for me, AVM says, "This case has been approved on Feb 1 an
    approval notice has been mailed...." AVM changed on Feb 6th. There are two ways I can understand it.

    - Approval has been done.
    - On Feb 1st they mailed a notice.

    or

    - Approval done on Feb 1
    - A notice was mailed on 6th ? (because AVM updated that day)

    I still have not received a notice in mail. It will be helpful if you can tell me the approval date on AVM is same as the Notice Date on the actual approval notice.
