Letter to senator!!!

I wrote a letter to senator asking him to look into my case as haven't got FP notice yet. Filed 485 in oct 2002. No Fp notice yet.
I got a letter from the senator saying they are looking into the matter...is it a common occurence of getting a reply from the senator? Is it a standard letter...or they are doing something....would appreciate if people who sent letters to a senator share their experience with me....:(

I too faxed a letter to the senetor today. Waiting for his response. Our case was filed in Oct 2002 as well and no FP yet. Will keep you informed when we get a response from him. Within how many days did u get your reply?

hi doe,

It's quite common to wait a couple of weeks (mostly over 4 weeks) to get a second response from the senator then one or two weeks more you may get FP notice. That's my experience.
