Hi All,
My previous employer did not cancel my immigration process and the I-140 has now been cleared. My 6 years of H-1 expire in June and my current employer is ready to file for an extension (labor is pending in the current company). In this case scenario, if my previous employer gives me a letter of intent to hire me, does that help me in any way? If I file for 485 on the basis of that letter, will that help me stay in the country after the 6-year expiry?
