Letter from USCIS About name check after interview

As I posted earlier I had AOS interview about 2 weeks ago. Officer told me that my check name is pending.

3 days ago I received the letter that they can not make decision on my case as necessary backgorund checks are pending.
It also goes on to describe the process and mentioned that they will notify me once those checks are completed
It also says that all name matches do not result in case denial etc.

Has anyone else received such letters after the interview?

At least no body has mentioned it on this forums.
 
I am not too sureI have read any post on a case similar to yours yet but maybe in the morning we will have more knowleged members reply you.

I have been name checked for almost a year. I didn't recieve such letter said that. They didn't even tell me the truth after my interview in Oct last year. They only told me "You will recieve a letter about the decision", then after six weeks of "waitting" for their letter which they never sent. I had to make a infopass and found out my case was pending name check. I guess they updated computer software lately to be more professional?

I was also pending for name check but didn't receive such letter though. What's your DO? Perhaps different DO's do things differently, just like some DO's stamp I-551 on passports when approved but some don't.

On the letter did they mention anything else that would like you to pay more attention on?

I did receive this letter once I sent an inquiry about my case after waiting for almost a year. However, I did not receive it when I first applied and after the interview. Maybe they have updated something in their systems now.
