I am in the process of applying for my 7th year extension ( NY ). The attorney is saying that they have sent a letter to the NY DOL for confirmation that 365 days have passed since labor was applied. It has been a month , but they still have not received such a letter from the DOL. They are saying that it used to be generally pretty fast , but taking longer these days. Is this normal, could anybody please share their experiences, how long does it take to get this done.
