What exactly needs to be stated in the Letter to be submitted while requesting the Emergency Advance Parole?
Their Parole hasn't arrived yet, since applying for it in July 2003 and they need to travel to India urgently.
The Newark Office has asked them to submit a fresh application along with enough justification for an emergency travel.

To what detail does the emergency have to be outlined in the letter?

Any one out there who's gone through this ordeal before?

My experience at Newark center for AP

Hi,

I had taken the following with me to get an AP at Newark in Nov. 2003.

* Money Order for 110 $
* Copy of I-140 & I-485 receipts
* 2 photographs
* Letter from Indian family doctor back home regarding emergency. (My mom was sick) [Optional]
* Copy of EADs
* Passport & I-94
* Reached there by 6:30 AM, stood in a line (IMPORTANT)

*Remember it was a whole day procedure or me, I got approved at about 5 PM (No food by then)

Wish you all the best, usually they ask you the reason, you say family emergency and they approve it.

Good luck.
