Hi Guys,

One of my friends called INS Nebraska last week and he was told ( BY IIO) that INS is keeping I-485 portability cases ( who changed jobs after 180 days or laid off before 180 days and found another job) on HOLD. We do not know how far this is true and the reason is not known. The only way we can track is through this great site. Please post your RD and brief description about whether you changed (after 180 days) or was laid off before 180 days .That way we know what is going on.

changed job after 10 months, got approved

I-485, EB1, CHN, OH
RD 06/12/01
ND 07/27/01
EAD 08/14/01(Cincinnatti, in person)
FP 04/04/02
Change job on 04/02, then attony send address change notice to NSC.
AD 06/24/02, courtesy copy of approval notice received in new address.
No RFE.

So, they know that I changed job(because I moved from OH to MI, and they sent approval notice to my new address), but ask no RFE and approved my case.

Based on my case, I don\'t think NSC hold on AC21 cases.
