My lawyer's office notified me yesterday that my husband and I have biometrics appointments for 2/12/08 in Seattle (I live closer to Portland ~3hrs away). The appointment was scheduled in Seattle because the lawyers gave their Seattle address on my application. I am EB3 ROW with not a lot of hope of my 04/2006 PD becoming current anytime soon, so its seems like a reasonable risk to request the appointment be re-scheduled at the Portland field office. On the other hand, the lawyers say "we cannot guarantee when the appointments will be scheduled", which of course, makes me worry! Am I risking anything significant by asking to reschedule? Advise appreciated!
