I am working on H1 for last 6 months.On joining, I signed on an agreement with my employer by which if I quit before 1 year, he will be liable to get from me everything he had spent on me,like legal fees,admin costs,visa fees,relocation costs etc, amounting to around $8000, in full.
I would like to know that if I decide to move from the company to a new employer, am I legally bound to pay "all" in full or is there a way out of this by paying lesser amount or not paying at all?
Any help would be highly appreciated!!
