Legal sized envelope

Hey Guys,

Thank you for helping everyone on a J1 visa including me. We really appreciate it. Just a quick question. I might sound stupid asking you this question but I cannot help it. When we send legal size envelopes to DOS, can we just fold it in the one we are sending??
Pls clarify. Thank you....
 
Doesn't matter if u fold it or not, but it should hav valid stamp and shud be in good condition (not in torn condition) and also it shud hav ur mailing address printed on it.
 
Thanks Dheeraj. One more question for you...After reading this forum, I have not found any definite answer to the envelope size and do you think you will be able to help me with this. And when you said printed, did you mean written?
 
U can write ur mailing address using a pen, that doesn't matter. And when u go to a post office, ask for a legal size envelope, everyone knows that. Legal size is regular size like one we use in India for normal mails.
