Changed my last name while in my native country,(just to sound cooler, i was young) got a passport in that name.
I came to the us in 97 on a b1-b2.
married a citizen and applied for AOS. 98
Never made it to the first interview, split up with wife.99
met new girlfriend, have been with her for 10 yrs.
divorced first wife in 2008
married current wife in 2009
have not re applied for AOS.
Had to come back to the UK 3 weeks ago.
Changed my name back to my original,(im more mature now and felt it was the right thing to do)
I have applied for a new passport.

QUESTION: What are the chances they will refuse me a visa or re entry into the US if I try?

Thanks in advance for any help.

hmm..well B1/B2 visas have a clear I94 expiration, so you've probably accrued unlawful presence of more than a year, which subjects you to a ban of 10 years from the US. Its very possible US officials will figure this out from their records. Changing ur name on passport wont fool them - they will know its still you, even with the different names.

Hi, the question is when did u leave USA last....if you did before 2001 then I am sure you will be ok, as they did not have the fingerprints on the visa, so with your name change on passport you should be fine....provided they issue you a Visa to travel....and you didn;t mention if your new wife is US citizen? if she is then nothing to worry what so ever.

Again I am not a professional, so please decide on your own.
