left the country for 8 months

when i was 15 years of age left the country because my parents lost there jobs they couldnt afford to pay rent anymore so they decided to send me to mexico until they found jobs and more affordable apartment this took them 8 months(whithin 5 years) i already filed for citizenchip and they got my fingerprints im just waiting for the interview now my questions are
1Can my residency be revoked?
2What are my chances on getting the citizenship?
i will really appreciate any comments

Well it really depends whether your 8 month trip was taken more than 5 years ago. If it was, then I don't see you having any issues since an 8 month stay outside the US does not itself break your LPR status.

If however your trip was inside the past 5 years, you almost certainly broke continuous residence, and will need to wait longer before you are eligible for N-400.
