Leaving Employer after Primary GC approved but dependent pending

Hi,
My situation is weird.
I have applied for GC in 2000 dec and got my GC 6 months back but my wife's(dependent) 485 is still pending(eventhough applied concurrently). All these years, I had a health insurance with my company, part of which the comapany paid initally for 6 months when I joined the company, but after that they said they cannot pay any part of the health insurance and kept deducting around 900 dollars out of my salary every month. Now this year all of sudden, they are saying that the insurance has increased and i have to pay around 1500 per month to have my insurance otherwise they would cancel it.
I now got a oppurtunity in an other company which is ready to give benefits like health insurance, 401k and stuff.
Is it safe to change the company even if my wife's 485 is pending. Could they do anything my wife's case.

Please do advise .....
 
it is surprise to me that company is charging 1500 $$ for medical insurance
which insurance, what is your company name??? may I know so I can warn friends not to join such company

Yes, a good PPO today can cost that much for two persons (employee + spouse). Health insurance costs are not cheap today. With raising costs, it is defeating the very purpose of having health insurance.
 
which state, insurance company's name? what are the coverage and deeuctions? I know health insurance is expensive but it surprise me of $1500 per month for emp+spouse? is it for medical only or for everything (dental, vision etc.,)

I know a good insurance like Blue cross, phcs, united costs around 700 - 900 per month for 2. kaiser permanente cost around each $169 per month in california for medical that covers all.
